Higher Ed Consulting for Community College Administrators

It’s frustrating when bureaucratic hurdles stand in the way of new programs.
It’s like watching grass grow—sometimes you need 10 signatures to buy a pencil.

Nearly four decades ago, I set out to change lives through education. I was determined to give my students the best experience possible. But I noticed a problem.

Even among the most passionate and dedicated teams, there were roadblocks—obstacles that hindered student success and organizational growth.

Leadership was aware of these issues, but there was little they could do.

  • They had tried solutions that didn’t work.

  • They had followed institutional procedure to implement changes, to no avail.

  • Or, staff was already stretched and didn’t have the capacity to add more projects.

I knew I could help community colleges address these systemic roadblocks.

That’s when Make the Connection was born.
